How it Works
It’s very simple. First, click on the “Start Mixing” button on the MojaMix.com homepage or click on “Mix-it” at the top of any page. Then select your favorite ingredients as the system guides you through each of four simple steps.
Step 1. Select your Base Mix: Choose from a selection of cereals, granolas, oats, puffs, trail mix, etc.
Step 2. Dried Fruits: Choose from a huge selection of dried or dehydrated fruits, ranging from cranberries, strawberries, raisins, plums, persimmons, etc. Want more than one helping of a particular dried fruit? No problem, just click on it again to add another helping.
Step 3. Nuts & Seeds: Choose from a wide selection of nuts, ranging from walnuts, Brazil nuts, cashews, coconut chips, etc.
Step 4. Extras: Is optional and has chocolate based ingredients like chocolate chips, chocolate coffee beans, raw cacao nibs, and chocolate sprouted sunflower seeds.
Keep in mind if you don’t want to try and come up with your own custom blend, you can click on “Gallery” to browse through MojaMix’s recommended mixes, that can be further customized to your taste!
The next step in the process is to customize the label on your bag, by giving your mix a name which can be up to 30 characters long, adding your own name, and selecting one of fifteen quotes or your own custom quote. All of this is printed on the front your bag, making it a truly custom cereal.
All you have to do next is place your oder and you should receive your custom cereal in no longer than 5 days from placing your order.
Your bag of custom MojaMix will arrive in the resealable bag with your custom label information you added when your placed your order. On the back of the bag you’ll find the packed date of your cereal, along with a “Mix Identity” number that you can enter when your ready to reorder more of your MojaMix. This will save you a lot of trouble of having to remember the different ingredients you added, which is awesome!
My custom MojaMix
When I made my custom mix, I used French-Vanilla Almond Granola for my base mix, added dried cranberries and blueberries for the fruit, and added pumpkin and flax seeds for the nuts and seeds. I skipped the Extras step when creating my mix, which I called the “Nutty Frenchman.” After placing my order, it took less than 5 business days to arrive at my house, just like they indicate on their website.
Taste
Before I opened the bag of the Nutty Frenchman MojaMix, the instructions on the back of the bag recommends you shake the bag, because the contents have a tendency to settle. I did that and proceeded to open my bag of custom cereal. I’m not a big fan of overly hard or brittle granola, so I was little concerned that my French Vanilla Almond granola, would be too hard, but I was pleasantly surprised. The granola was the right texture, not too hard and not too soft, and was extremely fresh. I didn’t find the French Vanilla to be very strong in the slightest and it was quite subtle, which is what I prefer.
The dried blueberries and cranberries were rather large in size and very fresh, not gummy or hard. And the pumpkin and flax seeds were delicious and unsalted. Each package contains 12 oz of your cereal – or about 6-7 breakfast servings and ingredients are 100% natural, and very fresh.

Overall, this was probably the best granola and dried fruit cereal, I’ve ever had!
